Are you a commissioning editor with a passion for serious non-fiction and a flair for finding books that deserve to be published?

Think Selection is looking for a Senior Commissioning Editor to join the editorial team of a London-based publisher.

We're interested in hearing from editors who enjoy discovering fresh perspectives on the world around us, whether through politics, history, human behaviour or contemporary society.

You'll be actively commissioning new books, assessing proposals, working with literary agents and developing your own ideas for potential acquisitions. You'll also work closely with authors on their manuscripts.

The successful candidate will have experience of commissioning trade non-fiction and a good understanding of the market. You'll be a confident editor, an enthusiastic reader and someone who enjoys the process of finding, acquiring and developing books.

This is a great opportunity for a Commissioning Editor ready to move into a more senior position, or an established Senior Commissioning Editor looking for a new challenge.
