Sales Executive
Think Selection is delighted to be recruiting a Sales Executive on behalf of a well-established education publisher specialising in literacy and classroom resources used by schools internationally.
This role will suit someone early in their sales career who is ready to move beyond a purely administrative position, deal directly with customers, and develop towards account management responsibility.
The Sales Executive will join a small, education focused sales team and will be closely involved in day to day sales activity. The role includes responding to enquiries from schools, distributors and education partners, preparing accurate quotations, and presenting products through online demonstrations.
You’ll maintain sales activity and customer records in the CRM and follow up leads generated through campaigns and marketing activity. You will also attend events, conferences and training days in the UK and occasionally overseas to represent the company.
As your experience builds, you’ll have the opportunity to begin to manage accounts in Europe, developing relationships under the guidance of senior colleagues before taking on increased responsibility.
This role will suit someone with experience in sales administration or sales support, who is looking for hands-on exposure to account management. You will be comfortable speaking with customers by phone and video, organised in how you manage tasks and follow ups, and confident working with pricing and systems.
Sales administration experience in education, publishing or EdTech is preferred, however, we would also welcome enquiries from people with broader sales or sales administration experience and an interest in developing in education publishing and EdTech sales.
The salary is up to £34,000, depending on experience, plus company benefits and a performance-related bonus scheme. The role is hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week based at the company’s North London offices.
