Publicity & Marketing Executive
A well-established London based publishing company has asked Think Selection exclusively to recruit a Publicity & Marketing Executive to join its team to handle publicity campaigns for selected titles across its commercial fiction genres (including sci-fi, fantasy and horror) and nonfiction popular culture publishing.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll write media pitches and press releases, organise advance and finished copy mailings, and secure interviews, extracts and features with broadcast, print and online media.
The role includes building relationships with journalists, reviewers and influencers, and identifying opportunities to increase visibility for the publisher’s books.
You’ll manage author appearances and book signings, submitting authors for festival panels and talks, and promote events through social media. You will also plan social media promotions for selected titles and track media coverage and campaign results.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in book publicity and marketing within a collaborative publishing team as the role will suit someone at an early stage of their PR career. You’ll be based from the company’s London offices a minimum of 2 days per week.
