A leading independent trade publishing house has asked Think Selection exclusively to recruit an experienced Publicity Director to lead high-impact campaigns across their acclaimed adult fiction and non-fiction lists.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled book publicist to join an award-winning publishing house known for championing bold storytelling and thought-provoking literature.

As part of a dynamic publicity and marketing team, you’ll lead on campaigns that generate widespread media coverage—across print, digital, and broadcast— while finding fresh and effective ways to raise author profiles and engage readers.

You’ll cultivate strong relationships with bookstores, festivals, broadcasters, and key industry figures to maximise exposure, while working closely with authors, agents, and the media, and you’ll work collaboratively with the Sales, Marketing, and Editorial teams to ensure campaigns are fully integrated for maximum impact.

Experience in selling serial rights would be an advantage, and you’ll also play a role in assessing PR strategies for new acquisitions and overseeing key campaigns with freelance support.

The company offers a hybrid working model, with a minimum of three days a week based from the central London offices, and a very competitive salary which will depend on the experience you bring to the role.
