Think Selection is delighted to be exclusively recruiting a Production Manager on behalf of a well-established and highly respected publishing company.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced publishing production professional to lead a small Production team while personally managing a varied publishing programme comprising colour-illustrated books, mono publications and a range of other high-quality printed materials and products.

You'll be responsible for managing titles through file stage to finished copies, managing print specifications, reviewing files and proofs, overseeing production schedules and maintaining high production standards across a diverse publishing programme. Alongside producing books, you'll also oversee the production of high-quality printed products, making this a role that offers genuine breadth and variety.

As Production Manager, you'll allocate workloads, mentor and develop your team, manage production operations with global suppliers and play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly through to delivery.

We're looking for someone with considerable print production experience and a strong understanding of commercial book manufacturing. You'll be experienced at managing production schedules, building productive relationships with global print suppliers and have extensive knowledge of colour printing, mono production, print processes, paper stocks and finishes.

This is a full-time position based in Central London, with hybrid working in operation and a minimum of two days each week in the office.
