Marketing Director – FTC
An established publisher of major entertainment brands and creator-led concepts has asked Think Selection to recruit a Marketing Director for a 12–15 month maternity cover.
The products reach readers in the UK and international markets through multi-channel subscription marketing and large-scale customer acquisition activity. As such, this is a broad, commercial marketing role with significant influence across the full product lifecycle.
You’ll lead the marketing strategy for new and existing collections, from shaping early consumer research and test plans to guiding launches, pricing, and multi-market campaigns.
Working closely with product, operational and distribution teams you’ll ensure each collection is structured, costed and positioned for strong subscriber engagement and long-term performance.
The role includes oversight of consumer insight activity, P&L modelling, campaign planning and performance analysis across digital channels, email, paid media and TV-supported campaigns.
You’ll refine subscription journeys, identify opportunities for upsell and retention, and work with external media and CRM partners on data-driven acquisition strategies. You’ll also maintain relationships with major licensors for branded collections.
You’ll oversee a team of product managers, each responsible for their own portfolio of collections and a specialist focused on digital, website and social activity.

This full-time contract begins in March 2026, with the flexibility to start earlier on a part-time basis and transition to full-time from March.
