Think Selection is delighted to be recruiting a Marketing and Publicity Manager on behalf of a prestigious independent publishing company, to lead campaigns for a growing Children’s and YA list.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll plan and deliver PR and marketing campaigns for a high-quality, author-led Children’s and YA list, ensuring each title is promoted to reach its intended readership.

You’ll plan and deliver marketing and publicity campaigns for individual titles, organising media outreach, securing review coverage, running social media activity and organising author events. This includes arranging author tours, school visits, festival appearances and bookshop events, managing review copy mailings, and handling prize submissions.

You’ll build relationships with journalists, reviewers, bloggers and influencers, and maintain regular contact with authors as campaigns progress.

You’ll also plan and run social media campaigns for the list, brief freelancers or agencies where required, and represent the list at trade and education events. You’ll work closely with editorial and sales colleagues so that campaigns reflect each book’s readership and commercial aims.

This role will suit someone with marketing or publicity experience with Children’s or YA titles, who is comfortable planning campaigns and carrying them through in full.

You’ll be based from the company’s London offices with hybrid working offered. The salary is competitive and depends on experience.
