Think Selection is delighted to be working with a leading publishing company to recruit a Junior Systems Administrator for their friendly IT team. This is a superb opportunity to join a well-regarded company and build on your skills in a varied and rewarding role.

Based full-time from the London offices during the first six months, with hybrid working offered thereafter, this full-time, permanent opportunity is ideally suited to someone with a broad technical skillset and a passion for delivering high-quality support.

Working closely with the Systems Manager, you’ll support over 130 users in the UK and contribute to the global infrastructure team. The role is a blend of desktop support and systems admin responsibilities, giving you exposure to both onsite and cloud services across multiple platforms and environments.

You’ll provide day-to-day desktop and mobile support, manage user accounts and devices, oversee backups and endpoint protection, and help maintain key systems including servers, telephones, video conferencing and printing. You’ll also contribute to internal user training and documentation and play a key role in helping the business run smoothly and securely.

You’ll need at least two years of commercial experience, with an understanding ideally of Windows and Mac environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management.

Familiarity with backup tools, scripting, security products, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS would be an advantage.

You’ll be organised, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with excellent communication skills and a positive, professional approach to user support.
