A growing independent academic publishing division has asked Think Selection to find a Higher Education Sales Representative to drive salesin Northern England and Scotland.

This is a field-based role focused on delivering sales ofhigher education textbooks across the region. You’ll build strong customerrelationships with faculty and librarians to support course adoption decisions.

Using a consultative approach, you’ll identify customerneeds, present the ranges to key decision-makers, sample appropriate titles,and provide feedback to colleagues in sales, editorial and marketing. You’llalso contribute to sales analysis and planning through regular reporting.

The role includes responsibility for a group of existingaccounts, and the remit to develop new business and seek opportunities forgrowth.

The position requires previous experience in sales—ideally in publishing or education—along with strong communication, organisational andplanning skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.
