A London based book publishing company has asked Think Selection to find a Digital Marketing Director to lead audience growth and digital marketing across its book publishing programme.

You’ll oversee advertising and marketing campaigns for eBook, print and audio titles, with responsibility for increasing readership, improving discoverability and driving sales performance across consumer channels including Meta, Amazon, TikTok and Instagram.

You’ll manage multi-channel campaigns spanning paid advertising, social media, influencer activity, email marketing and subscriber growth, while using campaign data and market insight to optimise performance and audience targeting. The role also includes developing pricing and promotional strategies and identifying new opportunities to grow readership in the UK and international markets.

Working closely with key senior colleagues, you’ll shape campaign direction across the publishing list, and lead the development of the marketing team.

Candidates should have significant digital marketing experience within publishing, media or another consumer-focused content industry, together with strong commercial awareness and experience managing substantial advertising budgets and multiple campaigns simultaneously. Experience analysing campaign performance, retailer activity and consumer behaviour is also desirable.

Hybrid working with three to four days per week in the company’s London offices, a competitive salary, bonus potential and benefits package are offered with the role.
