Think Selection is delighted to be recruiting a Commercial Sales Analyst for a successful book distribution company.

This is a newly created position offering an excellent opportunity to join the commercial team in an analytical, customer-focused role. You'll use sales data and market insight to help retail customers maximise the performance of their book ranges, while providing analysis that supports commercial decision making.

You'll analyse sales performance by customer, title and product range, identify trends and opportunities, prepare sales reports, review stock performance and produce recommendations that help improve sales. You'll also create planograms, support retail range reviews, process customer orders when required and provide analytical support to the Sales team.

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with a commercial outlook. You may already be working in sales support, customer support, merchandising, retail operations or a similar analytical role and be looking to develop your career in a commercial environment.

You'll be highly organised, confident using Excel to analyse and interpret sales data, and able to communicate your findings clearly. An interest in books, retail or consumer products would be an advantage, although we're equally interested in talking with people with the right analytical ability and commercial mindset.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career and, over time, could lead into a client-facing account management role.

The position is office based on the north west outskirts of London. A salary of up to £40,000 is offered, together with company benefits.
