Think Selection is delighted to be recruiting a Client Publisher Manager for an international illustrated book publishing company. This is a freelance, remote-based, part-time position, where you’ll liaise with your colleagues on UK-time.

You’ll be the main contact for a small number of client publishers whose titles are distributed by the company. The role centres on ensuring that clients receive clear information about how their titles are performing in the market.

A key part of the role includes reviewing sales figures and preparing regular reports detailing title performance in different channels and territories. You’ll discuss market activity, highlight opportunities for growth and keep publishers informed about market trends. You’ll also manage a very small number of specialist retail accounts.

Alongside this client facing work, you’ll keep publication schedules and title records up to date so internal teams have accurate information about forthcoming books, and ensure that new titles are correctly set up for distribution.

This role will suit someone with book publishing experience in: sales, account management, sales operations, distribution or publisher services. You’ll need to be comfortable analysing sales figures, communicating clearly with publisher clients and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.

A very attractive hourly rate is offered, and you’ll start on around 15 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours over time.
