Account Representative — Publishing Services
An international publishing services group is seeking a UK Account Representative to develop and manage commercial relationships with organisations in publishing, education and consumer sectors.
The group provides a coordinated service that enablesclients to manage complex projects efficiently through one trusted contact point.
You’ll build new business and maintain existing accounts, ensuring each client receives accurate information, competitive terms and aconsistently high standard of service.
The role combines prospecting and relationship management with close coordination between the group’s partner offices to meet clientr equirements smoothly and on schedule.
Day to day you’ll identify new opportunities, prepare quotes, maintain client records, and oversee projects from order through to completion. You’ll monitor progress, keep clients informed, and ensure all documentation and communication are handled accurately. You’ll also attend trade fairs and client meetings in the UK and occasionally overseas.
We’re looking for someone commercially minded and highly organised, with experience in B2B account management or sales. You’ll be confident handling quotations and contracts, methodical in managing detail, and capable of building long-term professional relationships.
Experience in the publishing industry is essential. Multi-stage service delivery would be an advantage.
This is a remote-based, full-time position based in the UK. The package includes a competitive salary of up to £50k depending on experience, bonus potential and company benefits.
